SEAN DIMITRIE

I’m a Vancouver-based creative who thrives on telling unforgettable stories through still photography, video, animation, music, and narrative wizardry. Whether it’s capturing a fleeting moment or spinning a compelling tale, I’m all about creating work that resonates and begs to be shared.

My journey began as a jazz guitarist and songwriter, but in the ‘90s, I traded the strings for synths and turntables, diving headfirst into the world of electronic music. Over the next two decades, I toured the globe as a DJ, remixed tracks, and released music that might’ve made your playlist (or your favorite dance floor memory). I also spent years at Bombay Records, searching for, developing, and producing incredible artists and albums. These days, you can find me on all the usual streaming platforms, but I also host a digital trophy case of songs on my Bandcamp page.

In the commercial and creative world, I’ve worn many hats as a producer, creative director, and all-around “get-it-done” guy. I’ve collaborated with amazing clients like CBC, NFB, APTN, HBO, Amazon, CTV, Apple, Harlequin Enterprises, HarperCollins, Monkey Group, Trailer Voice Artist, Screen Siren Pictures Inc., and a whole slew of others.

As a proud member of the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE 669), I’ve worked on countless episodic TV shows. Most recently, I wrapped up Season 4 of Warner Brothers' Superman & Lois, having been part of the team since Season 1. Beyond that, I’ve contributed my expertise to many other American TV series.

In a nutshell, I’m a storyteller at heart—whether through music, visuals, or narrative—and I’ve been lucky enough to turn my passion into a lifelong career. Let’s create something amazing together!
